Coming and Going

I had a lot of fun with my friend, Millie, on Sunday. Momma let us play for a loooongg time in the bark park. I didn't know it but it was the last time we would get to play. Momma said they were moving. Very sad. I loved playing with Millie as she enjoyed running as much as I did. There have been a lot of my friends that I used to play with and have moved away. Many human and dog friends seem to play with me for a while and then move away. I get really sad because I love them soooo much and love playing with them. These days I crave lots of attention from both humans and dog friends. Heck, I even wish I had some more cat friends. I miss my cat friend,, Murphy. I am afraid my Momma gonna nove away and leave me behind, too. There are some days I don't eat all my cookies treats until she comes home at night, even though Momma will come home at lunch time to visit. I give her really sad eyes and put my head down on my paws, but it doesn't stop her from going  to work. I d...

D'em Bones

Bones, glorious bones. I love to chew them. Rice bones, milk bones, beef bones, knee caps ... they are all good. Last week I was so into my bone that first thing in the morning I started chewing on one as Momma was getting ready to go walking with me in the morning. It was cold so it took Momma  a little longer to get ready and I got her up early on her day off. She hates when I do that, but I go to bed early and wake up earlier than her. Momma finally gets ready to go and I don't want to anymore. I mean, I am chewing on my bone and getting into it but she wants me to go. Momma got a little impatient. She went into the livingroom and got the leash, hooked me up and expected me to go. I just kept chewing. She took my bone away and I figured, okay, I guess I can go. When she turned her back to leave, I grabbed my bone and followed. Momma kept trying to get me to leave my bone behind but, nope, I wasn't gonna do it. So I went walking with my bone. We walked the whole apartment...

NOISE

Image
Next to smells, noises can be the best thing. I have exceptional hearing and know when a truck or golf cart is coming and I am ready to have fun barking and chasing it. But some noises are bad. Like those from a thunderstorm or fireworks. Those scare me. Last night I went out with my Mom to take out the trash and the booms started early - 6:30!! I pulled Mom all the way back home because I was so scared. She kept telling me that it was just noise but I didn't like it one bit. She sat on the floor with me for an hour, cuddling and petting me. I may have played it up a bit to get the lovings for that long, but hey, I deserved it after that scare. Then they did it again this morning at 6:30. We were taking our usual morning walk and someone kept making those loud booms. I barely went to the bathroom and pulled Momma all the way back home from the front of the complex. I didn't even take my time in the park. I want to go out today but don't know about the noises. I have a...
